Confidential (contact) person
The confidential (contact) person at Shizen Hontai is here for you! If you ever have to deal with bullying, sexual harassment, racism, aggression, or any other unwanted behavior. The confidential (contact) person is the first point of contact within Shizen Hontai and will help you reach out to the right organization. She will work with you to find a possible follow-up.
In a society where unwanted behavior (in any form) is a current issue, an association must pay attention to it. The confidential (contact) person is an example of this: it is part of our Shizen Hontai—that neutral basic posture with which we are prepared for whatever (potentially) comes our way.
Alice Mertens
Alice Mertens is the primary confidential (contact) person at Shizen Hontai. She is not part of the board or any of the committees. Alice is the mother of Floris, who is a member of Shizen Hontai; this is her connection to the judo club. This allows her to maintain a neutral stance toward anyone who reaches out to her. She works in education, where she also holds the role of confidential counselor within the school.
