Leergeld Foundation
Leergeld Veldhoven en De Kempen and Shizen Hontai believe that all children matter and should be able to participate. This includes judo and jujitsu classes. Are the costs of participating putting too much pressure on your budget? Leergeld may be able to contribute. So your child can discover and develop their talents.
Or, as Leergeld describes it in their own motto:
‘All children should be able to participate, because participating now means counting later. Leergeld believes that children should not suffer because of a lack of family budget and offers direct help within the established framework. It is about children getting the chance to discover and develop their talents. Leergeld helps children to develop themselves when parents are unable to fully provide for this financially.’
How does it work?
Children aged 0 to 18 whose parents or guardians cannot afford curricular or extracurricular activities can and should also participate. Thanks to contributions from Leergeld. For example, they pay for school trips, school camps, music or ballet lessons, sports activities, scouting, or creative courses such as painting or acting.
As a parent or guardian, fill in the online application form. There are two types of applications: for Veldhoven and for De Kempen. Residents of Veldhoven should choose the first option. Is the application fully completed? Press ‘send’ and the application will be submitted. After receiving it, Leergeld will contact you. In the detailed information about the application procedure, you can read step-by-step what to expect after you have submitted the form.
