Shizen Hontai registers all members with the JBN. JBN membership is personal and remains valid until cancellation. Shizen Hontai membership fees exclude JBN membership. Current federation fees can be found at www.jbn.nl. By registering with Shizen Hontai, you authorize the association to register you as a (new) member with the JBN and to exchange your personal data with the JBN. If you are transferring from another club and are still a JBN member or have been a JBN member before, you can check this below and enter your federation number:

Payment, recurring direct debit authorization, and signature The undersigned declares to have read and agreed to the membership terms of Shizen Hontai. You agree that your personal data will be processed in an automated database. By signing the registration form, you give permission to Shizen Hontai to send recurring direct debit instructions to your bank to debit an amount from your account regarding the current membership fees due and your bank to continuously debit an amount from your account in accordance with the instruction from Shizen Hontai. Direct debits are announced in advance via email. The one-time registration fee of €10.00 will also be debited automatically. If you do not agree with a debit, you can have it reversed. Please contact your bank promptly after the debit. Ask your bank for the terms and conditions.

By submitting a signed registration form, you apply for membership of Judo and jiujitsu association Shizen Hontai. You also authorize Shizen Hontai to register you as a member with Judo Bond Nederland (JBN), unless you are already registered with this federation. By applying, you declare agreement with the statutes, internal regulations, and these membership terms. These can be requested via email from the secretariat. Membership lasts until cancellation. Membership of Shizen Hontai is periodically renewed for the same term without further notice. The application is accepted by Shizen Hontai unless the board decides otherwise.

Current membership fees can be found on the website www.shizenhontai.nl. Payment of fees is made via direct debit, which will be announced at least eight calendar days in advance to the email address you provided. By signing the registration form, you authorize Shizen Hontai to collect the fees due from the (provided) bank account number. If the debit is reversed, you are personally responsible for paying the full fees due to the IBAN account number of Shizen Hontai: NL13 RABO 0123 5829 62. If a payment backlog remains – despite a reminder from Shizen Hontai – Shizen Hontai is entitled to charge €10.00 reminder costs with the next reminder. At the start of the membership, a one-time €10.00 registration fee is charged. The board is authorized to adjust the fees.

Cancelling your Shizen Hontai membership can only be done through the secretariat: in writing or via email to info@shizenhontai.nl. The notice period is one month and you must cancel before the end of the month. For example, if Shizen Hontai receives your cancellation on March 31, the membership ends on April 30. If Shizen Hontai receives the cancellation on April 1, the membership ends on May 31.

Participation in lessons and activities organized (partly) by, on behalf of, or because of Shizen Hontai is entirely at your own risk. Shizen Hontai excludes all liability, unless there is intent or deliberate recklessness. Furthermore, compensation must be covered by insurance taken out by or on behalf of the club and up to the maximum amount to be paid out by this insurance, minus any deductible of Shizen Hontai. Shizen Hontai is not liable for loss, theft, and/or damage to personal property. Therefore, do not bring any valuables to the lessons or activities.

Shizen Hontai can be followed via www.shizenhontai.nl and via Facebook and Instagram. The board, secretariat, and trainers have an association email address; these are listed on www.shizenhontai.nl. Several times a year, we share information via digital newsletters. The invitation for the annual general members' meeting is sent digitally, unless a member indicates otherwise. Registrations for activities, such as competitions and youth camp, are generally handled digitally.

Shizen Hontai processes personal data within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act in an (automated) database for the purpose of correct membership administration and informing and inviting its members regarding association activities. Shizen Hontai proceeds as carefully as possible, but accepts no liability for incorrect processing and/or loss or (digital) theft. Without your permission, Shizen Hontai does not provide personal data to third parties, unless required by law. You agree to the processing of your personal data and you agree that your personal data will be exchanged with the JBN. If participation in third-party activities occurs through Shizen Hontai, you agree that necessary personal data will be exchanged with these third parties.
